to fill the position of Chief Financial/Chief Administrative
Officer. This is a new full time position in the River Falls,
WI area that will report to Fiberstar's President & CEO.
 
Responsibilities include all aspects of accounting,
budgeting, financial reporting, finance, cash
management, credit, audit, human resources,
employee benefits, risk management, shareholder
records, and other.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer 3-5 years similar experience;
Recent MBA is a plus.

Senior Food R&D Researcher
Location: European Union Location

Company Brief
Fiberstar, Inc. – A manufacturer and innovator of unique fiber based food additives with a high water holding capacity used to manage water (adding additional or absorbing excess) in various food products, extend shelf life of baked goods, processed meats and frozen foods and partially replace oil, shortening and other fats in processed meats, dairy, processed cheese, dressings, sauces, and bakery.

Job Description

  • Hands-on technical support to sales and customers including technical
    presentations to customers, collaboration in the development of customers test formulas, participation in customer test runs.

  • Represent the company to current and prospective customers.

  • Identify opportunities with customers where company can offer technology solutions  that add real value.
  • Work closely with R&D, sales, and operational personnel to
    progress key identified customer opportunities.
  • Formulate new products and applications to advance customer and company growth.
  • Solve technical problems through search of scientific literature, outside suppliers, or
    other sources of technical information.
  • Communicate technical results both verbally and in written form to pertinent parties.
  • Coordinate QA efforts with R&D and production.
  • Provide technical sales support at trade shows.
  • Assist with completing QA and technical forms requested by both new and existing customers.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Food Science, Food Engineering, Dairy Science or similar.
  • 5 years minimum of R&D or related experience.
  • Prior experience / specialization and demonstrated success of problem solving in
    various foods products is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Must have excellent presentation and leadership skills.
