Fiberstar, Inc. is a privately owned research and development company focusing on improving food freshness and nutrition through technological innovation. It also operates a manufacturing facility that produces its Citri-Fi® line of products.
Fiberstar holds an exclusive worldwide license for patented bio-technology developed at the University of Minnesota. Its investment in research over the past seven years has led to the development of unique products that will improve the physical and functional characteristics of a wide variety of foods for which industry solutions are currently being sought.

We understand and focus on the ever changing demands of consumers by providing food manufacturers with real solutions that maintain or improve taste, texture and mouthfeel and which are cost effective. The consumers' increasing awareness of health as it relates to food is providing our industry with new challenges which include increasing fiber & whole grains, lowering saturated fat and calories and eliminating trans fats in our products just to name a few. However, those same consumers are not prepared to sacrifice taste and cost in addressing those important issues.
